Kristie Ramos has been a public servant for her entire professional career. In June 2015, Kristie was hired by the City of Rancho Mirage as an Administrative Assistant to the City Clerk. She was promoted to Deputy City Clerk in July 2016 and assumed City Clerk duties as Acting City Clerk in December 2016. Kristie was subsequently appointed to the City Clerk position by the City Council and was sworn in during the July 20, 2017 City Council meeting.
Kristie is a long-standing member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) and the City Clerks Association of California (CCAC).
Kristie attended College of the Desert in Palm Desert, California. In September 2017, she completed the IIMC Technical Training for Clerks Program and obtained a California Professional Municipal Clerk Certificate from the University of California, Riverside. Kristie earned the IIMC Certified Municipal Clerk designation in May 2018.
