Records Management

The Records Division is dedicated to the meticulous preservation, protection, and efficient management of City documents. Our mission is to uphold the highest standards of record-keeping, ensuring compliance with the City-wide Records Retention Schedule. Through advanced methods such as, digitization, and state-of-the-art record storage operations, we strive to safeguard records of enduring importance to the city, its residents, and future generations.

We are committed to transparency and accessibility. The division manages the City Archives, offering a Public Portal for both citizens and City employees to explore and retrieve administrative and historical records.

In our ongoing pursuit of excellence, we proudly introduce an innovative online portal for Public Record Requests, effective April 2023. This user-friendly platform, accessible at https://ranchomirageca.justfoia.com/publicportal/home/newrequest or via the provided QR Code, empowers citizens to seamlessly submit Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
