1253 hours – Warrant Arrest: Deputy Martin conducted a vehicle stop on Highway 111 and Button Drive in the City of Rancho Mirage.  Deputy Martin arrested the driver, Saul Rivera, age 30 of Cathedral City, for a domestic violence and a suspended license warrant. 1247 hours – Driving Under the Influence Traffic Collision: Deputy Avila responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision on Monterey north of Frank Sinatra Drive. His investigation resulted in the arrest of the driver, Sarah Anne Colbaugh, 24 years of Desert Hot Springs, for DUI – Drugs. She was booked into JBDC. File# S203080031.

1818 hours – Public Intoxication Arrest: Deputies Lee and Sepulveda were dispatched to 32200 block of Bob Hope Drive, regarding an intoxicated subject. The deputies contacted Michael Massengale, age 27 of Lake Elsinore. Massengale was arrested and booked at JBDC. File #S203080041.

1930 hours – Warrant Arrest / Possession of a Stolen Vehicle: Deputies assigned to the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team (SET), conducted an occupied vehicle check in the 32200 block of Bob Hope Drive. The vehicle had previously been reported as stolen. Dennis Veldof, age 27 of Desert Hot Springs, had a no-bail probation violation warrant. Nicole Wilson, age 29 of Desert Hot Springs, had an active felony warrant out of Oregon for failure to appear. Charges will be filed against Veldof for possession of the stolen vehicle, as well as additional drug-related charges filed on both subjects. Veldof and Wilson were booked into JBDC. 2044 hours – Driving under the influence arrest: While on a call for service in the 34100 block of Rebecca Way, deputies observed a reckless driver in the parking lot. 0800 hours – Domestic Battery Arrest: Deputies responded to the 69900 block of Hwy 111 regarding a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted Pedro Venegas, age 22 of Rancho Mirage, who was a suspect in a similar incident on December 3rd, 2020. It was determined Venegas committed a battery against his girlfriend causing visible injuries to her facial region. Deputy Robertson arrested Venegas for domestic battery. He was booked into JBDC.
