2226 hours – Warrant Arrest: Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at DaVall and Los Cocos, Rancho Mirage.  The deputies contacted and arrested Wesley Hendricks, 33 of Cathedral City, for three outstanding warrants.  Hendricks was transported to the county jail in Indio.  File # S200060060.

0803 hours – Trespassing / P.R.C.S. Violation: Deputies responded to the Westin Mission Hills Resort, 71333 Dinah Shore Drive, Rancho Mirage regarding a subject inside a vacant hotel room. The deputies located John Taylor Jr., 38 of Indio, on Dinah Shore Drive and Bob Hope Drive who was positively identified by the witness. Taylor was arrested for trespassing and for being in violation of PRCS. Additionally, Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) arrested Jose Rojas for Trespassing and Juan Calderon, 41 of Indio, for a possession of stolen property warrant.  Rojas, Taylor and Calderon were booked at Indio Jail. 2054 hours – Grand Theft: Deputies responded 32-250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage regarding a theft of an I-Pad. Deputy Derrick Robinson and the Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team (SET) responded to the 46-200 block of Arabia Street, Indio and arrested Alma Benitez, 50 of Indio and Mario Garcia, 61 of Indio, for grand theft.  Benitez and Garcia were transported to the county jail in Indio. 1653 hours – Major traffic collision: Deputies responded to a major injury traffic collision at Highway 111 x Country Club, Rancho Mirage. Upon their arrival, RCF was already on scene and administering medical attention to a 6-year old juvenile who was unconscious. The juvenile and his father Adan Rodriguez (Driver-1) were transported to Desert Regional Medical Center (DRMC). Upon deputies’ arrival to DRMC, they were advised Adan fled the scene, leaving the juvenile with his mother.  It is unknown what injuries Adan sustained.  The juvenile was transported to Loma Linda Hospital as a precaution.  File # S200140043

0400 hours – Assault with a Deadly Weapon: Deputies responded to the 200 block of Saratoga, Rancho Mirage regrading an unknown trouble. Gary Wolgamott, age 50 of Rancho Mirage was arrested for brandishing a machete in a threatening manner towards his roommate and for assault with a deadly weapon.  Rodolfo Camacho, age 30 of Rancho Mirage was also arrested for sexual battery that occurred earlier in the morning in the city of Cathedral City. They were both booked into Indio Jail. File #S200150007

0519 hours – Home Invasion / Assault w/A Deadly Weapon / Violation of Probation Arrest: Deputies responded to a residence on Mirage Cove Drive, Rancho Mirage regarding a home invasion.  The suspect, later identified as Angel Garcia, 35 of Cathedral City, fled the area prior to deputies’ arrival. Deputies from the Rancho Mirage Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) assumed the investigation.  BSU and the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team located and contacted Garcia on Highway 111 southeast of Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City. Garcia is also a suspect on three additional residential burglaries that occurred in the city of Rancho Mirage. Garcia was transported to the county jail in Banning. File # S200150008.

Kavenish and Frank Sinatra, Rancho Mirage.The victim stated she was in her backyard when she heard a gunshot.  The victim saw Nathan Ingram holding a rifle threatening the victim.  Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) bureau was notified and responded to the scene.  Ingram was taken into custody but was extremely impaired.  Ingram was into Indio Jail for criminal threats, resisting arrest, and branding a weapon. Investigations assumed control of the scene.  File #S200180046

1308 hours – Identity Theft / Fraud Arrest: Deputies assigned to the Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted further investigation regarding a theft that occurred on January 1, 2020 at the Westin Resort located in the 71-300 block of Dinah Shore Drive, Rancho Mirage. During the investigation, BSU deputies identified the suspect as David Lino, 36 of Cathedral City.  BSU with the assistance of the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team located and arrested Lino for identity theft and fraud. Lino was transported to the county jail in Indio. File # S200010027

Brian Gregory, age 38 of Torrance, had two outstanding misdemeanor warrants for drug related charges. He was also in possession of approximately one gram of suspected methamphetamine. 1528 hours – DUI Arrest: Deputies responded to 69900 Frank Sinatra Dr. reference a report of a possible drunk driver. Deputies located the vehicle and contacted Raul Acosta, age 48 of Rancho Mirage. 2153 hours – Domestic Violence: Deputies responded to Agua Caliente Casino at 32250 Bob Hope Dr, in Rancho Mirage regarding a domestic violence. The female victim stated she was in an argument with her boyfriend Damian Navarro, 29 of Indio Hills, and he assaulted her. Prior to deputies’ arrival Navarro fled the scene.  The victim had visible injuries and was transported to EMC for treatment. File # S200270053
