1530 hours – Public Intoxication / Assault on a Peace Officer Arrest: Deputies responded to the 71-800 block of Hwy 111 in reference to an individual refusing to leave a business establishment. When deputies arrived, they contacted Alexandra Munoz, 30 of Palm Desert, who became uncooperative and assaulted a deputy. Munoz was arrested for the above-listed charges and transported and booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S201880057

2100 hours – Stolen Vehicle Arrest: Deputies responded to the Casino regarding theft of a vehicle. The investigation revealed that Renee LeeAnne Messemore, 47, and Joseph Mario Nevill, 25, both transients in the area took the victim’s keys and drove off with the car without permission. 1206 hours – Trespassing / Assault on a Peace Officer: Deputies responded to 32-250 Bob Hope Drive, regarding trespassing. The deputies contacted and arrested Mary Sindios, 23, of San Bernardino. While in the county jail in Indio, Sindios kicked the arresting deputy and she received an additional felony charge of battery on a peace officer. File #S201900030

1330 hours – Identity Theft / Grand Theft Arrest: Members from the Burglary Suppression Unit conducted a follow up investigation, regarding a vehicle burglary that occurred on June 28th, 2020, on Dominion Ct. in Rancho Mirage. Anthony Kleeman, 24 of Calimesa, was identified as the suspect using the victim’s credit cards that were stolen in the initial theft report. BSU members, with the assistance of the Special Enforcement Teams, served a residential search warrant at Kleemans residence in Calimesa. BSU members subsequently arrested Kleeman without incident and recovered numerous items belonging to the victim. Kleeman was transported and booked into the county jail in Indio for Identity theft and grand theft. File # S201800033

1045 hours – Driving Under the Influence: Deputies responded to the 32-250 block of Bob Hope Drive, in the parking lot in reference to a traffic collision. The deputies contacted Carlos Galcez, 77 years old, of Cathedral City. Galcez was arrested for DUI and booked into custody at the county jail in Indio. File #S201650039

1800 hours – Trespass: Deputies were dispatched to 32-250 Bob Hope Drive in Rancho Mirage. The deputy contacted, Anthony Herrera, 24 of Beaumont, who came to the casino after he had been previously banned. Herrera had been issued three trespass citations from the casino informing him he was banned for the next several years. Herrera signed one of the citations acknowledging he was banned. The Security Manager for the casino desired prosecution and signed a Private Persons Arrest form. Herrera was arrested and booked into the county in Indio. File #S201950062

1234 hours – Possession of Stolen Vehicle Arrest: Deputies located a stolen vehicle at 32-250 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage. The vehicle was occupied, by Timothy Ortiz, 32, of Cathedral City. Ortiz was arrested for possessing the stolen vehicle and booked into custody at the county jail in Indio. File #S201960030

1500 hours – Residential Burglary Arrest: Members from the Rancho Mirage Burglary Suppression Unit (BSU) conducted a follow up investigation, reference a residential burglary that occurred within the 10 block of Cromwell Court in the City of Rancho Mirage, that initially occurred on July 13th, 2020. BSU members positively identified the suspect as Wyatt Naegle, age 21 of Cathedral City and arrested him within the 10 blocks of Via Valverde in Cathedral City without incident. Numerous items belonging to the victim were recovered upon Naegle’s arrest. Naegle was transported and booked into the county jail in Indio for first degree residential burglary. File #S201950028

A search was conducted, and Wilson was in possession of methamphetamine. Wilson was subsequently arrested for Possession of a controlled substance and Probation Violation. 2015 hours – Public Intoxication: Deputies responded to 72-773 Dinah Shore, Rancho Mirage, reference an intoxicated male who was verbal with customers. Eden Salgado, 25 of Palm Desert had a misdemeanor warrant for Trespassing. Salgado was arrested for his warrant and public intoxication. He was transported and booked into the county jail in Indio. An Emergency Protective Order was authored, and a probable cause statement was completed for Weinger’s arrest.

Upon arrival, deputies contacted security personnel who had custody of a 3-year-old child found wandering a hallway in the hotel. The investigation revealed that the mother, identified as Alexis Riveros, 25, of Winnetka, had left the child unattended in the room for approximately three hours while she gambled in the casino. Riveros was arrested for child endangerment and transported to the county jail in Indio where she was booked on the above charge. File # S202120016
