1811 Hours – Possession of Fentanyl/ PRCS Arrest: Deputy Bugarin and Sergeant Morton conducted a pedestrian check in the 32200 block of Bob Hope Drive. Lucas Mountz, age 36 of Cherry Valley, was arrested for being in possession of approximately 1/2 ounce of powdered Fentanyl. A PRCS flash hold was placed and he was booked into JBDC.  SIB, CVNTF and PDS Investigations are aware of the arrest due to the known dangers of fentanyl.  File #S210710051

2108 Hours – Identity Theft/ Violation of Probation Arrest: Sergeant Morton and Lieutenant Willison, while working extra duty at the Agua Caliente Casino, contacted Oscar Holguin, age 45 of Bermuda Dunes, who was in possession of numerous stolen/ fictitious identification cards and altered checks.  Holguin is currently on felony probation for identity theft and possession of methamphetamine for sales. 0056 Hours – Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Stolen Property, Violation of Parole Arrest: Sergeant Morton and Lieutenant Willison, while working extra duty at Agua Caliente, discovered a stolen 1995 Nissan pick-up parked in the parking structure of the resort.  The vehicle was stolen within the city limits of Indio on March 3rd.  Video surveillance was reviewed and led to the identification and arrest of Noe Holguin, 29 of Indio, who was contacted at the south doors of the resort.  Holguin was arrested for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and violating the terms of his Parole.   Holguin was booked into JBDC for the above charges.  File #S210720002.

1555 Hours – Narcotics Arrest: Deputy Steven Nelson, of the Palm Desert Business Team, responded to the report of a shoplifting in the 34200 block of Monterey Avenue in the City of Rancho Mirage. He contacted and arrested Austin Alesi, 29 years of Calimesa for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Alesi was cited and released. File #S210720024.

1800 Hours – Warrant and Narcotics Arrest: Deputy Kelly, of the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team, conducted a traffic stop at Bob Hope Drive and Casino Way. The Driver, Juan Hernandez, 40 years of Rancho Mirage, had Multiple Felony Warrants for Vehicle Theft. Deputy Kelly also located 13 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine in the driver’s side center console. Hernandez was arrested for the Felony Warrants and narcotics. He was booked into JBDC. 1732 Hours – Warrant Arrest: Sergeant Dave Morton, of the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team, was stopped at Gerald Ford and Da Vall, when he observed a red GMC Yukon travelling northbound on Da Vall. Sergeant Morton recognized the vehicle from a wanted flyer produced by Cathedral City Police Department, and he recognized the driver as Felix Moore, age 43 of Cathedral City, who was wanted for assaulting his ex-wife. A felony stop was conducted, and Moore was arrested without incident for a domestic violence warrant with $500,000 bail. He was booked into JBDC. File #S210770060

0505 Hours – Public Intoxication and Drug Paraphernalia Arrest:  Deputy Amato responded to the 32200 block of, Bob Hope Dr, Rancho Mirage, regarding an intoxicated subject that was trespassing.  Deputy Amato contacted and arrested Adam Moore, 29 years out of Anza, for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. 1625 Hours – Warrant Arrest: Deputies with the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team and the Indian Wells Special Enforcement Team conducted follow-up investigation in the 69500 block of Highway 111 reference locating an outstanding felony suspect related to multiple vehicle thefts within the city.  Deputies obtained information the suspect, Trevor White, 36 years, of Rancho Mirage, was staying at the Motel. Deputies authored and served a Steagald Search Warrant. Deputies contacted and arrested, Trevor White, for five outstanding felony warrants for vehicle theft and two misdemeanor warrants for drug related charges. 1530 Hours – Vehicle Theft/ Warrant Arrest: Sergeant Morton, of the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team, conducted a traffic stop of a Mercedes C300 at Frank Sinatra Drive and Hwy 111. The driver, Luis Flores, age 30 of Cathedral City, had three active felony warrants for burglary and vehicle theft. A search of the vehicle revealed numerous bags of jewelry and gold coins. Deputies from the Burglary Suppression Unit responded to the scene and collected the suspected stolen jewelry. A subsequent flyer was generated and dispersed to surrounding agencies. Sergeant Morton conducted a follow-up investigation in reference to the Mercedes and learned it was an unreported stolen vehicle from the City of Riverside. Flores was arrested for vehicle theft and the warrants. He was booked into JBDC. File #S210840030

A search of Zakarian’s person revealed he was in possession of heroin and numerous hypodermic needles. A record inquiry revealed Zakarian was on probation for drug-related offenses.
