1720 hours – Burglary / Violation of Felony Probation: Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team Deputies were conducting a vehicle check behind a business, located at 34-249 Monterey Avenue when the rear door alarm activated, and a white male exited the store carrying store merchandise.  Jeremy West, 33 years of Thousand Palms, was detained with over $1,100 in stolen property.  West was booked at Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.  File #S201260052.

1621 hours – Burglary Arrest: Deputies responded to the 70-000 block of Thunderbird Mesa, regarding a male subject wandering in the neighborhood. While on property deputies observed a white male, later identified as William Devaux, 41 of Palm Springs, standing in the pool yard near a backpack.  Devaux was detained and learned he is on parole for 459. Further investigation revealed Devaux had been on property for several hours, collected clothing, a watch, car keys, drone and garage door openers from the main residence. He was booked into the county jail for burglary.  File #S201320059.

The investigation revealed that the husband, Lian Tang, 40 years old from China, grabbed and pushed the victim, causing red marks to her arm. Tang was arrested for felony domestic violence and booked into the county jail in Indio. File #S201380038

The victim was assaulted by Albert Hensley, 45 years of Cathedral City. Hensley fled the scene but was located in the Target parking lot in Cathedral City. The victim positively identified Hensley via a photographic line-up and Hensley was booked into the county jail in Indio for assault with a deadly weapon. File #S201390030.

2044 hours – Public Intoxication Arrest: Deputies responded to the Cal-Fire Station located at 70-801 Highway in the city of Rancho Mirage regarding someone loitering on their property. The deputy contacted and arrested Nicholas Smith, 38 of Palm Desert, for public intoxication. He was arrested and booked into the county jail in Indio. S201390063.

The driver was driving erratic on highway 111 near Frank Sinatra. The vehicle stopped at the intersection of Highway 111 and Jermaine Gibson, Cathedral City.
