1439 hours – Felon in Possession of Firearms/Ammunition: Deputies conducted a vehicle check in the parking lot of 70100 Mirage Road, Rancho Mirage. The driver was on parole and the search revealed two stolen handguns, ammunition, and stolen property from Palm Springs. Ernie Couto-Oviedo, age 27 of Coachella was arrested for being a felon in possession of firearms, ammunition, possession of stolen property, and for being in violation of parole.
