1441 hours – Stolen Vehicle Arrest: Deputies responded to the 32-200 block of Bob Hope Drive in the city of Rancho Mirage regarding an Automated License Plate Reader hit.  Deputies conducted an area check and located the occupied stolen vehicle in the parking structure of the casino. They contacted Shanon Richey, Age 36 of Desert Hot Springs, who was arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.  Richey was transported and booked in JBDC. 1520 hours – Warrant Arrest: Deputies were dispatched to the 40 block of South Clancy Lane in Rancho Mirage regarding a nude male running around in the area.  Deputies located and arrested Marco De La Cruz, Age 39 of Palm Springs, who had a felony warrant for his arrest.  De La Cruz was transported and booked into JBDC. 0002 hours – Warrant/Drug Paraphernalia Arrest: Deputies conducted a traffic stop at Highway 111 and Fairway in the City of Rancho Mirage.  Contacted and arrested was Ramon Segura, 49 years old, transient from Palm Springs. Segura had an active misdemeanor warrant and was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  Segura was subsequently arrested and booked into custody at JBDC. 0249 hours – DUI / Hit and Run Traffic Collision Arrest: Deputies responded to Dean Martin and Calle Entrada regarding a report of a hit and run traffic collision. Maria Tallon-Gutierrez, age 24 of Cathedral City, was subsequently arrested and was transported for an OK to book and then booked into jail at JBDC. File # S202610012.

1623 hours – Possession of controlled substances: Deputies responded to the 32-200 block of Bob Hope Drive reference a subject threatening to jump off the top story of the parking structure. The subject, Les Jung, 38 years old of Irvine, walked away from the edge of the roof and was detained without incident. Deputies from the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team searched Jungs’ backpack and located copious amounts of cocaine, methamphetamine, heroin, ecstasy and drug paraphernalia. Irvine PD was contacted regarding numerous firearms registered to Jung and his suicidal statements demanding to be killed by deputies. Criminal charges will be filed out of custody.  File #S202610069

2324 hours – Warrant Arrest: Deputies responded to the 100 block of Rancho Vista in Rancho Mirage reference a check the welfare.  Contacted and arrested was Craig Bailey, 46 of Rancho Mirage, for an outstanding felony vandalism warrant.  Bailey was booked into custody at the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning. 0106 hours – Vandalism Arrest: Deputies responded to a vehicle fire in the third level of the parking structure located in the 32-200 block of Bob Hope Drive.  Deputies arrived and extinguished the fire and determined the car was unoccupied.  The driver of a KIA Sedan arrived on scene and identified himself as Kenneth Swearingen, age 52 of Arizona.  The investigation revealed Swearingen intentionally drove his rental vehicle into a parked vehicle inside the parking structure. Swearingen was arrested for vandalism, taken for and OK to Book at an area hospital, and booked into custody at JBDC. File #S20202630006.

1516 hours – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Arrest: Deputies responded to the 32-200 block of Bob Hope Drive regarding a man down and slumped over the wheel of a tan Lexus. Upon arrival, they contacted Ronzarr Wallace, 29, from Indio. The deputies investigation revealed that Wallace was under the influence of Oxycodone and Xanax and was in possession of methamphetamine, Xanax, and Oxycodone. Wallace was transported and booked into the JBDC. File #S202730076.
