0615 hours – Trespassing/Narcotics Arrest – Deputy Stapleton and Deputy Lara responded to the 32200 block of Bob Hope Dr., Rancho Mirage.  Deputies contacted Brian Gormley, 39-year-old of Riverside, who was detained by casino security.  While speaking to Gormley, Deputy Stapleton located a glass smoking pipe containing white and black burnt residue.  Deputy Stapleton arrested Gormley for trespassing and possession of paraphernalia. 0134 hours –Negligent Discharge of firearm Arrest – Deputies responded to the 71800 block of Highway 111, regarding a negligent discharge of a firearm. The reporting party stated the suspect fled in a black Mustang. Deputy Garcia located a vehicle that matched that description and conducted a vehicle stop. The driver, Edward Baskaron, 32-year-old of Banning was detained. A .38 caliber revolver was located behind the driver’s seat with one spent casing in the cylinder. 1228 Hours–Fraud/Probation Violation Arrest– Members of the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team were in the 32200 block of Monterey Ave. and recognized a vehicle leaving the location which was known to commit fraud.  Members conducted a traffic stop at the I-10 freeway and Cook St.  The driver, a juvenile, was arrested for driving without a license, possession of drug paraphernalia, and methamphetamine.  Oscar Holguin, 47-year-old of Indio, was arrested for numerous fraud charges, committing felony while on bail, and violation of probation.  Daniel Aviles, 41-year-old of Indio, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, fraud related charges, and violation of probation.  The juvenile was cited and released to parents.
