2012 hours – Fatal Traffic Collision: Deputies responded to a traffic collision in the area of Dinah Shore east of Los Alamos. One of the passengers was declared deceased at the scene. The driver was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. A third passenger was transported to DRMC with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of a second vehicle involved in the collision was uninjured. Palm Desert Traffic unit responded and assumed the investigation. File #S221520049

0732 Hours- Battery Arrest- Deputies responded to 900 block of Inverness Drive regarding a physical altercation between two roommates. Deputies deployed a taser in an attempt to detain the suspect. They arrested Rayliene Moreno, age 26, transient out of Long Beach, for multiple out of county warrants and additional narcotic charges. She was booked into John Benoit Detention Center. 2355 hours-Arrest warrant service-Deputies responded to 69500 block of Hwy 111, Rancho Mirage, to a report of trespassing. They contacted Nathen Jorge Ajona, 18, out of Thousand Palms.
