0100 Hours– Resisting an Officer, Criminal Threats, and Vandalism Arrest – Deputies responded to the 71700 block of Highway 111, regarding an intoxicated male damaging property. The male fled when deputies arrived and was taken into custody by Deputy G. Garcia and Deputy A. Morrow. Once detained, the male, Anthony Santamoor, 26 of Palm Desert, kicked the doors of the patrol unit. While at the hospital, Santamoor spit on deputies. 0650 Hours –Arrest Warrant Service – Deputies responded to a disturbance within the 32200 block of Bob Hope Dr. Information was obtained regarding one of the involved parties being wanted for attempted murder. The subject fled on foot prior to contact being made. Units were able to maintain visual on him as he ran across Ramon Rd., towards the train tracks. After a short foot pursuit, the suspect was then detained without further incident. Adalberto Raygoza, age 32 of Cathedral City, was arrested for active felony warrants for attempted murder, kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment, and spousal abuse. Stevens contacted and arrested Oscar Gonzales, 38-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, for an outstanding Felony Warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle. Gonzales was identified as being on mandatory supervision and during a search of his vehicle, Corporal Nelson and Deputy Stevens located approximately 10 grams of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia. 2033 Hours-Arrest Warrant Service/Possession of firearm with narcotics/Parole Hold Arrest-Members from the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team conducted an occupied vehicle check in the 32200 block of Bob Hope Dr. Members arrested Joseph Gallegos, 24-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, for a parole violation and possession of narcotics. Members also arrested Debra Chavez, 31 years, for an outstanding felony warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle and was charged with possession of a loaded firearm with narcotics. Deputy Hindiyeh later provided the Burglary Suppression Unit with information leading to the positive identification of the suspect Terrence Banks, age 51 of Rancho Mirage.
