Adopt a Pet

The City’s Animal Adoption and Pet Care Incentive Program allows Rancho Mirage residents to be reimbursed for adoption costs and pet care services.

Community Emergency Response Training

The City of Rancho Mirage offers free Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) twice a year. This three-day training provides classroom and hands-on exercises in disaster preparedness, fire safety, medical triage, search and rescue, structure size up, and more.

Emergency Medical Services Insurance Billing Program

As a Rancho Mirage resident, you are protected from any out-of-pocket costs related to emergency paramedic and ambulance transportation services. ​​​​As part of the Billing Program, Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medicaid and private insurance companies are billed directly to recover costs incurred from the medical emergency.

Public transportation serves residents, employees & employers in Rancho Mirage.

Rancho Mirage Energy Authority

Rancho Mirage Energy Authority supplies power to homes and businesses with an opportunity to opt up to 100% renewable energy. Our partner, Southern California Edison, continues to do the billing, maintains the power lines, and handles all new service requests and emergencies.

Resident Golf Card

The Rancho Mirage Resident Golf Card offers residents discounted rates at Rancho Mirage courses.  Click below for more information.

Resident Valet Parking Permit

Only offered to Rancho Mirage residents with proof of residency, this complimentary permit allows residents to enjoy free valet parking at any Rancho Mirage business or resort that charges for valet. Just come by City Hall and pick up a complimentary Resident Valet Parking Permit.

Senior Programs

The residents of Rancho Mirage are able to participate in a broad range of activities found throughout the valley. The two closest senior centers, the Joslyn Cove Communities Senior Center and The Cathedral Center, offer numerous classes and social activities.

Short-Term Rental Complaint Hotline

Short-term Rental is a residential property which is rented for 27 nights or less. All short-term rental properties in Rancho Mirage must be registered with the City.
