Business Recycling

The State of California has passed several laws placing requirements for businesses to recycle materials rather than send them to the landfill for disposal. These laws include:

AB 341 – Mandatory Commercial Recycling

AB 1826 – Mandatory Commercial Organics Recycling

SB 1383 – Short Lived Climate Pollutants Reduction Act (Recycling of organics and edible food recovery)

AB 1276 – Single use food accessories and standard condiments

The City of Rancho Mirage in conjunction with Burrtec offer recycling programs to ensure Rancho Mirage businesses can comply with these laws. Burrtec will also provide technical assistance and training to your staff.
